On December 1, 2009, the Batteriegesetz (BattG) became effective in Germany. It implements the specifications of the European directive 2006/66/EG in the German legislation. New obligations arise from the law. All manufacturers have to register all battery brands they sell within Germany with the German Environment Agency. Our registration number for Germany is 21008702.
